- (E1) ROBERT PENNYFATHER of Barton-under-Needwood, Co. Staffs, born circa 1480 died 1543. His will and those of twelve other members of the family who died between 1480 and 1640 are preserved in the Manchester museum.
(E2) William Pennyfather, eldest son of (E1) Robert Pennyfather, died April 1574 leaving by his wife Margery two sons:
(E3) John of Madeley Co. Staffs. and
(E7) William.
